What seven thoughts govern, shape, and determine my life? This is a question the Irish poet and author John O’Donohue recommends spending time with. Every day, we use thought, and thoughts shape the world we inhabit. Many of us keep the thoughts that we come back to repeatedly to make decisions as a secret, even from ourselves. What’s possible when we bring awareness to them like furniture in a room, that can be moved, or even eliminated?

As the myth of scarcity becomes more prominent and institutional violence continues to escalate, the importance of building resilient communities and strengthening networks of mutual support grows significantly.
Could our community be strengthened through meaningful relationships, sharing resources, and emotional and spiritual support for one another in times of need?
As our connections grow, we grow strong together, and this strength will serve us during the challenging times ahead.

Stone Soup: Multigenerational Service

January 25th, 10:30am. Topic: “Stone Soup: Multigenerational Service.” Service led by Reverend Stacy Craig (In-person).

All are welcome to attend a service for all ages! Together, we will retell the profound story of how, especially in times of scarcity, we can find abundance in community when we lift up the value of generosity. All will be fed by this heartwarming and fun time in worship.
